ASHLEY GEORGE

ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT ~ HR RELATIONS & ENGAGEMENT

Ashley George serves as the Associate Consultant for HR Relations and Engagement. Within her role, Ashley co-manages our clients Human Resources related needs and employee engagement efforts with a DEI lens. Ashley supports our senior consultants in managing our executive search practice, while assisting clients with talent acquisition, onboarding, organizational development and management research.   Her experience in designing and facilitating diversity education programs with  emphasis on the importance of individual and collective growth through introspection and innovation, helps our clients to gain deeper appreciation for the role of DEI in their organizational success. 

In her current role as Assistant Director for Advocacy & Social Justice Education, Ashley reinforces diversity, equity and inclusion goals, objectives and values through student, faculty and staff sourcing, acquisition, onboarding, training, development, performance management and grievances.  As co-chair for the Nazareth Bias and Response Team in partnership with the Community & Belonging Advisory Council, Student Experience Committee, Pandemic Response Team and Staff Search Committees have led to the development of the first ever institutional Diversity Scorecard; Campus Climate Survey; Inclusive Leadership Initiatives and other structures pivotal in fostering a  community of belonging. Ashley’s commitment to  enhancing institutional culture while advocating for the marginalized,  has earned the respect of her peers in the DEI space.  

With the primary goal of becoming a leader in promoting civility and denouncing intolerance, George is trained in Legal Compliance from Harter Secrest & Emery LLP and trained as a Restorative Justice Facilitator from the University of San Diego. In addition to attending and presenting at local and national conferences, George is actively involved in community efforts to advance DEI and enjoys engaging in opportunities that support/nurture  her intellectual curiosity/growth

Ashley holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Nazareth College. She currently serves as the VP of Social Media for the National Association for African American in Human Resources West New York Chapter (NAAAHR-WNY) and currently resides in East Rochester.
